Over the decades, we have handled insurance claims and lawsuits arising from all types of auto accidents, including pedestrian injuries and fatalities.

Once you decide to work with us, we dive into your case immediately. It is important for us to begin an independent investigation as soon as possible. We will:

  • Obtain a copy of the police accident report.
  • Obtain copies of any photos and video you or a companion took of the scene.
  • Take photos of your damaged vehicle and ensure the type, severity, and location of the damage is thoroughly documented.
  • Request surveillance footage from any nearby businesses or traffic cameras.
  • Contact eye witnesses and schedule times to take their formal statements.
  • If necessary, hire an accident reconstructionist to analyze how the crash took place.

Another step we will take right away is to file a car accident lawsuit. Whether we file a personal injury or wrongful death claim on your behalf, we will be prepared to enter into the discovery process. During this phase of the litigation, we will obtain additional evidence from the other party. We may schedule a deposition to question the at-fault driver about what they were doing in the moments leading up to the crash. If the negligent driver has passengers in their vehicle, we may depose them as well. We may file interrogatories, which are written questions the other party must answer, or admissions, which are statements the other party must admit or deny. These can be essential in establishing basic facts regarding the accident. Additionally, we may file requests for production of documents. This is often necessary when the negligent party is a business and may have records that pertain to the accident.

Through a Miami car accident lawyer thorough investigation and aggressive use of the discovery process, you can establish responsibility for  a personal injury claim against the at-fault driver and demand full and fair compensation.
